Aislinn McMillan | Email
Hello! My name is Aislinn McMillan, and I participated in the Field Research in Public Health Tanzania program during summer of 2015. I am a senior studying Chemistry and Global Health on the pre-medicine track. My time in Tanzania was not only the most educational, but also the most exciting aspect of my Northwestern career thus far. It provided me the opportunity to immerse myself in a new culture, directly engage with people confronting challenges in their public health system, and learn about collaboration in such a setting.
Udita Persaud | Email
My name is Udita Persaud, and I am a senior studying Anthropology and Global Health. This past summer, I had the amazing opportunity to go to Tanzania on the Field Research in Public Health program. My time abroad enabled me to truly immerse myself in a beautiful culture, converse with people from all over the world, create life-long relationships, and so much more. It was amazing to be able to conduct meaningful and collaborative research while witnessing first-hand the health issues that were previously raised for me in Global Health classes at NU, which all ultimately helped me gain a better understanding of where I see myself in the global health sector.
